Trump really seems to be determined to pivot to the Asia-Pacific and leave Europe to the EU/NATO.
Expectedly, US President Donald Trump’s Congress address highlighted the so-called “America First” policies. He reiterated the importance of his numerous executive orders, particularly those concerning border security, trade tariffs and rolling back some of the neoliberal extremism enforced by the previous administration.
Interestingly, Trump also touched upon the recently revealed information regarding the corrupt federal institutions’ embezzlement schemes that siphoned off billions of dollars of taxpayer money. This includes the social security numbers fraud uncovered by Elon Musk’s DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency). The agency reportedly found there are more than 20 million Americans over the age of 100 still “eligible” for social security benefits.
According to Musk, this includes 3.9 million in the 130-139 range, more than 3.5 million aged 140-149 and more than 1.3 million in the range 150-159. There’s even one who’s over 360 years old. In the eyes of the corrupt federal institutions, all these people were listed as “alive”. The Department of Health and Human Services agency have records with over 60 million people more than the entire American population, meaning that dozens of millions who are no longer alive (or possibly never existed) could be receiving monthly checks. This is yet another confirmation of numerous reports about the staggering levels of corruption in the United States and how this spilled over to other countries, particularly the NATO-occupied Ukraine and its Neo-Nazi junta.
However, all this pales in comparison to the geopolitical consequences of Trump’s remarks. He reiterated his stances on American expansionism, specifically by mentioning Greenland. This is certainly not going to win him any favors with the European Union, but that’s hardly surprising given Trump’s opinion on the troubled bloc.
However, while Brussels can afford a “soft geopolitical divorce” with Washington DC (for now, at least), the Kiev regime is an entirely different story. Namely, less than a day after Trump announced the end of all US “military aid”, the Neo-Nazi junta frontman Volodymyr Zelensky rushed to issue an “apology” (of some kind). In a letter to the US presidency, he declared “readiness to move forward under Trump’s strong leadership”.
This makes the signing of the so-called “rare-earth minerals deal” likelier, particularly after Trump himself read Zelensky’s statement during his Congress address. This can be described as an attempt by the new US administration to extend an olive branch to the Kiev regime after the disastrous Trump-Zelensky spat.
However, it should be noted there are several reports indicating that the Zelensky’s “apology” came only after Washington DC pressured the Neo-Nazi junta over the issue. There’s also the question of details regarding the “minerals deal”, both whether it will be signed and what “security guarantees” the Kiev regime will get (if any). To that end, it seems Zelensky is slated to visit the White House once again (most likely next week).
However, this meeting would also include French President Emmanuel Macron and UK Prime Minister Kier Starmer, who seek to ensure continued US support for the NATO-orchestrated Ukrainian conflict. To get on Trump’s good side, they’re now portraying this as a “peace initiative”, while also offering minerals as the main framework for a supposed “peace deal”. Several reports by the mainstream propaganda machine suggest that Starmer was instrumental in mediating between Trump and Zelensky. He reportedly had a phone call with the latter, warning the disgraced Neo-Nazi junta frontman that he “needs to rebuild relations with President Trump to have any hope of securing US support for a lasting peace deal that would save his country from Vladimir Putin’s forces”.
Starmer praised Zelensky’s “steadfast commitment to securing peace”, which essentially means anything but (in other words, this translates to London’s excitement over the possibility of prolonging the NATO-orchestrated Ukrainian conflict). Zelensky himself thanked Starmer for what he said was “Sir Keir’s advice and support during this challenging time”.
The Kiev regime frontman understands that his political (and perhaps even physical) survival depends entirely on ensuring the war continues for as long as possible. To that end, the UK PM reportedly tried to dissuade Trump from halting “military aid” in an emergency call on the night of March 3. However, this failed, so Starmer called Zelensky and advised him to “apologize”.
All this demonstrates that Trump is indeed a tough negotiator, which he regularly points out during his speeches and rallies. During the Congress address, he proclaimed that “America’s golden age has only started”, but not everyone in the political West think so. By insisting on the so-called “America First” policies, Trump is antagonizing the Deep State globalists who still run the EU/NATO.
To make matters worse (for them), he announced readiness to make an all-encompassing deal with Russia, even hinting the possibility of easing sanctions. According to alleged “diplomatic sources” cited by Daily Mail, Trump might even be looking to pass the baton of NATO leadership to the UK and France, which (if true) would be a truly unprecedented geopolitical shift.
On the other hand, as previously mentioned, the EU/NATO so-called “peace initiatives” are only an attempt to keep the US involved, as they fully understand that they could never take on Russia by themselves. The ceasefire proposals reportedly include “ending aerial and naval strikes by both sides”. If successful, the deal would then move to include a ceasefire on land, although the unnamed source said this would be “harder to verify and easier to derail”.
As per the report, Macron initially suggested “a one-month pause in the fighting in the air and at sea”, but the proposal is now expected to be open ended. Meanwhile, Starmer reportedly “hopes to persuade President Trump to guarantee a US security backstop”, although he effectively admitted this is yet another ruse.
Namely, he hopes this would “allow Britain, France and other members of a developing ‘coalition of the willing’ to send their own troops to keep the peace in Ukraine without fear of immediate attack by Russian forces”. Starmer recently acknowledged that it would be “utter folly to send British forces into harm’s way without American support”.
On the other hand, Trump insists that “the presence of American citizens working on the minerals deal would be enough to deter further Russian attacks”. He also reportedly told Starmer that he “trusted Putin to keep his word”. However, both of them keep forgetting that Russia repeatedly stated that no foreign troops would be tolerated. Either way, Trump really seems to be determined to pivot to the Asia-Pacific and leave Europe to the EU/NATO.
