Preface
“If I speak with such emphasis, it is because I have, in very small part, earned the right to do so, by virtue of having worked with and flown with more men who have died than I like to remember. And it is not pleasant to realize that what they did is being disregarded, so very few months later, and by individuals who were never to be found in the right corner, even after Pearl Harbor. It is not pleasant to realize that the voice of the new “internationalist” is the most strident today – the Congressman whose idea of internationalism is an international combination to bring about a World War III against one of our World War II allies.
I have used the phrase ‘a small group of willful men,’ and I have placed them in Washington. Perhaps I should be even more specific. I am thinking of the career men in the State Department whom Father never trusted, including certain men often mistakenly referred to as our ‘experts’ on foreign affairs. I am thinking of the reactionaries of both major parties in Congress, men who have decided that it is more important to choose up sides for the future than it is to work together for the future. I am thinking of our guardians of the ‘free press’—the press that heroically contends for freedom of irresponsibility. These are the most vituperative voices lifted against the principle of the Big Three unity, as a result of their insistence that the veto power is a ‘vicious system.’
And I am thinking, too, of the men who have shrunk our foreign policy down to the size of the atom bomb, the Army officers who—considering apparently only their professional futures—are prepared out-of-hand to condemn civilization to a heap of rubble.’”

This PREFACE is a verbatim quote from Elliott Roosevelt, “As He Saw It,” published in 1946 “The Story of the World Conferences of FDR.”
President Franklin Delano Roosevelt died in April, 1945. Elliott Roosevelt, his trusted son who had accompanied him at the “Big Three” conference in Tehran, wrote “As He Saw It” in 1946. By 1947 Churchill declared the “Iron Curtain,” shattering the trust and camaraderie that President Roosevelt had forged with the USSR, and which had saved the world from nazism. 405,000 Americans and 27,000,000 Soviets were killed defeating the backbone of Hitler’s invasion during WW II. In 1947 President Truman passed the “National Security Doctrine,” sealing the coffin of FDR’s hopes for world peace, with the United Nations his greatest hope for its achievement.
It is astounding and tragic that 80 years after the trusted son of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt wrote these words, Elliott Roosevelt’s words are an almost verbatim description of the realities of the world today, as we confront Armageddon.
President Roosevelt conceived and founded the United Nations to bequeath to the world an instrument with the capacity to preserve peace, and prevent the recurrence of genocide and the horror of another world war, WW III. However, President Roosevelt had realistic hopes of this coming to fruition, as his own experience of profound constructive alliance of the United States and the Soviet Union, and his own extraordinary intellectual and moral capacity to respect the rights of other nations to choose economic systems founded on principles and ideologies antithetical to the United States’ economic system, co-existing successfully, and attaining commonly shared goals made the prospect of such a United Nations viable.
Tragically, the United Nations today is disastrously paralyzed, ineffective (at best) and failing to such an egregious extent that calls for its elimination are becoming louder, (in 1991 Cuban Ambassador Ricardo Alarcon stated that the United Nations had become so dangerous, it should be closed down, and reopened as a shelter for the increasingly homeless population in New York City). And former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark stated in 1991:
“The United Nations which was created to prevent the scourge of war has become an instrument of war.”
The roots of the United Nations failure can be found in the tragic words of Elliott Roosevelt, in his statement that
“it is not pleasant to realize that the voice of the new “internationalist” is the most strident today—the Congressman whose idea of internationalism is an international combination to bring about a World War III against one of our World War II allies”
Perhaps the most flagrant and appalling example of the United Nations’ failure to honor the principles of President Roosevelt is the disastrous emasculation of the Security Council, which, confronted with one of the most conspicuous genocides in its history, a heinous slaughter of which the entire world is aware, has been unable to take action to protect the innocent victims of the Gaza slaughter, the relentless bombing campaign of civilians, which reduced to rubble the entire territory which might have constituted the basis for the “two state solution” of Israelis and Palestinians living side by side. The paralysis of the Security Council can be directly traced to that “strident voice of the new ‘internationalism,’ the international combination to bring about a World War III against one of our World War II allies.’”

As warned by US President Eisenhower, in his farewell speech, to guard against the “acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, of the ‘military-industrial-complex,’” the rapacious greed of those war profiteers who, requiring an enemy to “justify” their phenomenally profitable weapons manufacture, have demonized Russia, resulting in unnatural and lethal antagonism between the West and Russia, the inevitable consequence of which is WWIII. This manufactured antagonism has made it impossible for the Security Council to agree on a resolution which could have saved the lives of the more than 40,000 innocent Palestinian victims of the IDF bombing for more than a year.
This is the more scandalous, as the Security Council unanimously passed Resolution 1973 in 2011, “authorizing Chapter VII measures for the protection of civilians in Libya, authorizes member states to take all necessary measures to protect civilians and civilian populated areas under threat of attack in Libya, and imposes both a no-fly zone over Libyan airspace and an arms embargo.” It is disgraceful, then, that the Security Council has been unable, now, to pass any Chapter VII Resolution to protect the thousands of defenseless women and children in Gaza, who were left dead, or mutilated, with their homes in the same rubble as were the homes bombed by Security Council Resolution 1973 twelves years earlier. But, as former Indian Ambassador Hardeep Singh Puri stated at the time:
“the Libyan case has already given R2P (Responsibility to Protect) a bad name” and that “The only aspect of the resolution of interest to them (the international community) was the use of all necessary means to bomb the hell out of Libya.”
Further, the Security Council’s failure to acknowledge the deadly, illegal context of the cynical and stealthy pattern of Western orchestrated “regime change” operations, now the hallmark of the NED, has resulted in its incapacity and failure to acknowledge and identify the cause of Russia’s 2022 military operation to protect its Russian brothers and sisters in Ukraine. The Security Council’s willful ignorance of the genocide of Russian culture is a bigotry which is not only contaminating Ukraine, but is resulting in the barbarous expulsion of the greatest Russian artists from the New York Metropolitan Opera house, denying Americans the sublime inspiration of the great Russian artists Valery Gergiev, Anna Netrebko, Denis Matsuev, the Metropolitan Opera House cancellation of the contracts with the world’s greatest ballet and opera companies, the Bolshoi and Kirov, and in an action of sheer fascist imbecility, Lithuania is now prohibiting that magical performance of “The Nutcracker, “ composed by one of the greatest of all musical geniuses, Tchaikovsky, and replaced that world-revered classic with the crude mediocrity of a banal Italian substitute “ballet.” Even The New York Times, that bastion of Russophobia, thought this barbarism worthy of a front page article on December 25, stating:
“Unimpressed by the substitute for Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker” the mother and her young daughter left at the Intermission, a small protest over a decision by the Vilnius, Lithuania opera house not to perform the Russian composer’s Christmas classic….Lithuania, an unwavering supporter of Ukraine…set aside Tchaikovsky and the holiday favorite two years ago after declaring a ‘mental quarantine’ from Russian culture….Many in the art world oppose banning works on the basis of their nationality, believing that culture has the power to unite and should not be contaminated by politics.”

As this bigotry contaminates Lithuania, one can only imagine the hellish victimization suffered by Russian citizens of Ukraine, following Victoria (“f**ck the EU) Nuland’s orchestration of the color revolution that overthrew the democratically elected President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovich in 2014, replacing his democracy with the nazi infested regime of Zelensky, who has now outlawed any expression or observance of Russian language, literature, religion, eviscerating the rights and freedoms of all Russian citizens of Ukraine. Any Security Council resolution proposed by the Russian delegation in defense of their majestic culture and history is vetoed by the US delegation, as the racist agenda paving the way to WWIII is stealthily prepared.
One of Hitler’s first steps laying the foundation of the Holocaust, was the trashing and prohibition of Jewish Culture. As comparisons to Hitler are quite promiscuously made these days, it would not be inappropriate to compare Zelensky’s expansionist military actions and his prohibition of all forms of Russian culture, language, music, religion in Ukraine to Hitler’s prohibition of any expressions of Jewish culture, degrading the people for whom he was preparing the way for the “Final Solution.”
Perhaps it was the result of President Roosevelt’s genius, and humanity, that he was so successful in forging a close and ultimately victorious alliance with Soviet Russia, accepting Stalin’s gracious invitation to reside in the Soviet compound during the Tehran conference, recognizing the Soviets and insisting that the development of the Manhattan project be shared with the Soviet leader, realizing that “secrecy can be a two-edged sword, it could turn a friend into an enemy, eroding trust.” Roosevelt supported Niels Bohr’s passionate insistence that the development of the atomic bomb should be shared, internationally, thereby preventing an arms race. Today, more than 80 years later, the “doomsday clock” is seven minutes to midnight, as the arms race reaches a fever pitch.
In last Autumn’s “UN Summit for the Future” the Secretary-General stated that we are confronting a different reality today that we did at the establishment of the United Nations. Other than advanced technology, and an income inequality greater than anything preceding it, we are in precisely the same place we were at the inception of the United Nations, with any of the multiple wars present or imminent throughout the globe possibly exploding into the nuclear holocaust. And the UN “Summit of the Future,” September 20-21, 2024 surreptitiously promoted the nefarious “Pandemic Treaty,” which would ultimately establish global tyranny over our bodies, our lives, under the guise of “global health,” establishing a dystopia of the style Adolf Hitler dreamed of. This Pandemic Treaty would be controlled by unelected self-styled “elites” devoid of any medical expertise, merely a financial oligarchy. And, as Voltaire famously recognized, ”behind every great fortune lies a great crime.”
It is therefore deplorable that this week, in his opening address to the World Economic Forum, 2025, the UN Secretary-General made merely perfunctory reference to the razor-sharp menace of nuclear weapons, and the deadly and imminent perils of a nuclear holocaust, by intent or accident.
It is crucial to emphasize the duplicitous betrayal of Eleanor Roosevelt’s “Universal Declaration of Human Rights,” as the United Nations trashes the Declaration’s centerpiece Article 19, and dictatorially censors, expels and physically assaults the most prescient journalists dissenting from the current United Nations dogma which masquerades as fact. In an embarrassingly gross example of dogmatic arrogance, the UN Under-Secretary of Global Communications stated in an interview at the World Economic Forum that “the United Nations owns science.” The ignorance of this statement is breathtaking. In view of the fact that the development of science requires skepticism, her statement revealed the anti-scientific and totalitarian prejudice of the current United Nations, comparable to the fraudulent claims of the Vatican (which claimed exclusive direct contact with the word of God) that the sun revolves around the earth. Any dissenters, such as the great Italian scientist, Galileo, were threatened with death by torture and forced to conform to the false doctrine. Indeed, Giordano Bruno was burned alive at the stake for challenging this fraudulent claim of the Vatican. 500 Years later reality obliged the Vatican to apologize for suffocating critical thought. It is doubtful that the United Nations is capable today of even that level of intellectual integrity.
